You might be wondering who I am.
Maybe you want to know a little more about me.
If either of the two sentences above are true, you've come to the right place.
My name is Marissa.
I am 22 years old.
In June 2011 I married my handsome husband, Travis.
He is in the military (that's where the "combat boots" come from).
As a child, I loved fairy tales, princesses, anything magical, and of course, hoped I would one day meet my Prince Charming.
Today, that is all still true.
Well, except for the Prince Charming part.
I already found him. :)
I definitely still love princesses (my favorite is Cinderella).
I consider myself to be a princess (hence the "glass slippers").
But actually, I think that all girls should be considered princesses.
That may sound a little silly to you, but it's true!
We are all wonderful, unique, and fabulous in our own ways.
Why not celebrate that?

A few more things about me:
I live in Florida, the Sunshine State.
I am currently a senior at a university here in Florida.
My major is elementary education.
I hope to teach first or second grade after I graduate.
I have a pet fish named Mushu.
I love all things Disney!
My favorite colors are blue, pink, and orange.
I love country music.
My favorite shows are the Office and CSI: Miami.
I love baking.
I am obsessed with cupcakes and cows.
I also love Hello Kitty.
I love make up.
And nail polish.
And clothes.
And purses.
And shoes.
Yep, I'm a total girl.
However, I also love the outdoors.
I absolutely love the beach, and anything related to it.
I am a certified scuba diver (but I haven't been recently).
I love reading!
The Harry Potter series has always been my favorite (they really got me hooked on reading).
I also love crafts!
I knit.
I am determined to learn how to sew this year (I got a sewing machine for Christmas).
